Product description
LED light chain 230 volts – connectable light system
Technical data
Length: 20 meters
Power: 220-240V – 50 Hz
7 watts per chain
LED: 120 warm white LEDs
Cable colour: Black
Distance between the LEDs 16.6 cm
Protection class: IP 67
Rubber light chain
Delivery without connection cable
Chain of lights is divided into 2 individual lengths of 10 meters each.
Can be linked up to a maximum of 10 chains of the same type
or linked with other types of the same system.
However, the maximum load of 480 watts when
using the standard connection cable should be taken into account.
Further connection options up to a maximum of 1800 watts result
from the use of LED distribution boxes
Installation
A connection cable is required for each chain of lights, which must be ordered separately.
If several chains of lights are to be laid to one length,
a connection cable is required for all chains together, up to the maximum number permitted for this chain of lights.
If the light chains are to be laid in several branches, it is possible
to use distributors with which the main cable can be branched off in different directions.
The fairy lights have adapters to connect these or other parts together.
The adapters of the parts/light chains are simply plugged together and
secured with an existing screw socket.
In addition, the fairy lights come with a heat-shrinkable tube that
is slipped over the adapter sleeves and shrunk with a heat device.
Coupling system protection class IP 67
Product information “QuickFix®
The cable for outdoor (outside) light chains and accessories is marked by blue markings on the adapters.
Only items with this marking can be coupled to one another.
The system meets protection class IP67,
ie high protection against moisture – dustproof – temporary submersion
condition: correct handling – correct installation.
In addition, the adapters of this system have reverse polarity protection.
The light chains require DC (direct current) to light up.
There is an AC-DC rectifier in the connection cable of the system,
which converts the house current AC (alternating current) into DC (direct current).
If the polarity is changed within the light system, the light chains do not light up,
which is why there are locking mechanisms in the adapters that prevent this.
However, if for some reason the polarity is wrong, the light chains will not light up.
Further advantages
230 volt system – a power pack (transformer) is not required
Easy to use
Segments can be replaced
Low power requirement, even for larger projects
Can be supplemented as required, even after a long period of time
If the LEDs fail, the light chain continues to shine
Thanks to the existing range of additional extensions, distributors, etc.
the planning of small or large lighting projects is simplified.
Previous system
You cannot connect the previous version of this system with IP 44 directly to the IP 67 system.
If you still have fairy lights from the previous system, you can use an additional adapter
to connect the previous system to the newer system or vice versa.
This adapter has the article number 71560-799.
